By using UniversalClip ("the app", "the service") you agree to these terms.

1. The service

UniversalClip synchronizes clipboard content across your devices and provides AI-powered text and code actions. We offer a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and sync passphrase secure. You must provide a valid email address. You must be at least 13 years old.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to store or transmit unlawful content, to abuse the AI features for prohibited purposes, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Pro is billed monthly or yearly through LemonSqueezy, our payment provider and Merchant of Record.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime; Pro access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: 14-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

5. AI features

AI results are generated by a third-party model (DeepSeek) and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
